These were my first blades. How much better than cartridges! How much lower-mediocre after trying other blades... Some cut just fine, some drag like hell which makes me avoid them - I hate things with variable quality :-(

I think all of us went through the initial hype of pampering ourselves with the expensive brands. Speaking for myself, there are very good quality cheap (not exclusively meaning NOT old & big) brands out there that smell & perform excellently. Cella, La Toya, Arko, etc... Can't push myself to...

Welcome! Actually the 'DE shaving is cheap' is only a catchphrase :-D I was OK with a can of foam and a Mach3 back then, now the software consists of tens and tens of soaps, creams, blades, razors, ASs, ASBs, colognes... and I am far from testing half of what I wanted to :-D

I started with backpacks, then several camera bags (I still use some, mostly Lowe Pros) and ended up with a messenger bag (from Camel Active). However if I don't want to have anything hanging on me I carry my Snugpack (costs around £15 at Heinnies).

Cheers, I'm looking for Gillette Super Thins (the Vietnamese red ones) and Gillette Yellow 7 O'Clocks, either one in this preferred order. Thinking about packs of 100 or 200 if the price is right :angel: If you have any that's just laying around on the bottom of your drawers, bathroom...

Re: RE: Pipe Smokers Definitely. You can find cheap yet good glass jars with silicone sealing keeping your baccy with the right moisture and aroma. Sealing your tobacco air-tight is a must when smoking aromatics.

The Fatboy looks awesome but we didn't get along. The slim looks awerage but saves much better.

I have made the general mistake of not buying a ball head at the first time. 3way heads look reasonably but they're big and reframing takes ages, especially when making short range shots. Go ball from the beginning! ;)
