I haven't posted in here for a while so here goes:

Pre: Hot wash with dove soap, hot towel.
Cream: J. Peterman's 1903 concentrated shaving cream.
Brush: Vie Long Horse/badger mix.
Razor 1: Kropp 6/8
Razor 2: 1966 Gillette Super Speed flare tip.
Blade: Gillette silver blue.
Post: Styptic pencil, Alum.
AS: Nivea sensitive Balm. Prof Blighty's Hyperion post shave tonic.

OK, I managed a 2 pass WTG full face with my Kropp wooot first time thats happened. It was still patchy on the neck and just under my nose so I finished off a WTG pass with my flare tip. I had 2 nicks however, surprisingly, they were caused by the DE and not the kropp . I do have some razor burn on my neck but that's because of trying to get those irritating wee hairs that escape everything I throw at it lol.

The J. Petermans 1903 cream is such a pleasure to use, lather with just a glance (well ok a wet brush) using just a pea sized blob. I had so much lather left over I felt I was being wasteful washing it out of the bowl and despite applying nivea balsm and the Prof's Hyperion AS, the predominant smell is the 1903.

My face is so smooth and if it weren't for the slight razor burn from the DE and the 2 wee nicks I would have said this was the best shave yet.

This is strange, its about an hour or so since my shave and i cant feel any hair no matter what direction I rub, yet before my cold water rinse to wash off the alum I could feel stubble on my neck.

Very weird.

I'm just about done trying with this brush. No matter how long I load it, it only ever holds enough lather for one and a half passes. Disappointed - will stick with my omega 49.

Razor: Merkur 933CL
Blade: Derby Extra Super Stainless #1
Post: Thayer's Medicated Witch Hazel
Fragrance: Knize Forest Toilet Water

Result: Hotel shave so down to a minimum and using up some samples. The MÜHLE impressed me. I do enjoy my D&G little boar brush - it is well and truly broken in now and a great little performer. Not sure I will persevere with the Derbys
- not bad, but I have better blades.
