Gillette Sensor (8)
Thäter 4125/1 2-band
Wickham Super Smooth
Lucky Tiger Face Tonic

My 'proper' razors are being overlooked a bit. Possibly time to sell a few more. Quite fancy a Mongoose to shake things up.

Pre: Hot wash with dove soap, hot flannel.
Soap: Whickham Super Smooth Bay Rum.
Brush: Vie-Long 14095 Premium Special Order Horse/Badger Hair.
Razor: 1966 Gillette SS Flare Tip.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue #2
Post: Boots Bay Rum AS.

Nice 3 pass shave today with this wee Flaretip, it always amazes me for such a light razor how it slices through whiskers with ease yet gives the impression its just taking off lather. The Gillette Silver Blur blades are fast becoming a favorite, no irritation, no tugging just smooth close shaves. As for the Whickham super smooth, what can I say but how easily it lathers and how slick it becomes even for a novice like me. First time out with my new Vie-long Horse/badger brush and its a dream, way better than my omega 49. Maybe I am just into horse brushes.
Anyhow, a smooth 3 pass shave and very close, boots bay rum was nice smell but left my skin feeling kind of sticky but a little Nivea balm sorted that.

Wednesday i October, 2014

Prep: Hot shower, Zirh Alpha Hydroxy Face Wash
Pre: Splash of cold water
Brush: Neep Dreadnought '67
Soap: MdC Fougère
Razor: Gillette M3 Slim Adjustable
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (Green) #1
Post: Alpa Fougère
